TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using our website or services. By accessing earthmedicinevet.com or engaging with Earth Medicine Holistic Veterinary Healing in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. ABOUT OUR PRACTICE
Earth Medicine Holistic Veterinary Healing is an educational and consultative practice owned and operated by Dr. Sarah Meintel, DVM, based in Ashland, Oregon. Our offerings include:

Holistic wellness consultations (telemedicine and in-person) of an educational nature
Veterinary acupuncture services provided at licensed clinical facilities
Education consultations
Herbal wellness products for animal companions

IMPORTANT: Our educational and consultative services do not constitute the practice of veterinary medicine, do not establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR) outside of applicable licensed clinical settings, and are not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or direct veterinary care from your primary veterinarian.

2. EDUCATIONAL NATURE OF SERVICES
The information provided through our consultations, website content, and educational materials is intended solely for general educational and informational purposes. Nothing communicated by Earth Medicine Holistic Veterinary Healing — including written content, spoken consultations, product descriptions, or any other medium — constitutes veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations specific to your animal.
You acknowledge that:

You will consult with a licensed veterinarian for diagnosis, prescription, and direct treatment of any health condition affecting your animal.
Any wellness or holistic strategies discussed are educational in nature and should be implemented in collaboration with your primary care veterinarian.
You assume full responsibility for decisions made regarding your animal's health and care.

3. ACUPUNCTURE SERVICES
Veterinary acupuncture is provided by Dr. Sarah Meintel, DVM, cVMA, at licensed clinical partner locations (currently A Street Animal Clinic, Ashland, Oregon). These services are rendered within the context of a proper VCPR and in compliance with Oregon veterinary practice law. Acupuncture service terms, consent, and clinical policies are governed by the policies of the clinical facility where services are rendered.

4. TELE-HEALTH & REMOTE CONSULTATIONS

Educational telemedicine consultations are available to clients throughout Oregon and beyond, consistent with applicable state regulations. These remote sessions are educational in nature. By scheduling a telemedicine session, you confirm that you understand this distinction and agree to use the information shared for educational purposes only. You are responsible for ensuring a stable internet or phone connection and for providing accurate information about your animal prior to and during the consultation. Consultation fees cover the time, research, and clinical judgment involved in preparing your session, and are earned upon delivery of the consultation. Once a telemedicine session has been conducted, the fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether you choose to act on the recommendations provided.

5. PRODUCT SALES — HERBAL WELLNESS LINE
Earth Medicine offers a line of handcrafted herbal wellness tinctures formulated for animal use. By purchasing our products, you agree to the following:

Products are intended for general wellness support and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
You will consult your veterinarian before using any herbal product, particularly if your animal is pregnant, nursing, on medications, or has a diagnosed health condition.
You accept full responsibility for the use of purchased products on your animal.
Product descriptions, ingredient information, and dosing guidelines are provided for educational purposes only.

6. REFUND POLICY — PRODUCTS & CONSULTATIONS

• All sales of herbal wellness products and all telemedicine or educational consultations are final once delivered or rendered.

• Consultation fees are non-refundable once a session has taken place. This includes sessions conducted by phone, video, or written correspondence.

• Product orders are non-refundable once shipped, except in cases of damage, defect, or shipping error.

• If a product arrives damaged, defective, or was shipped in error, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can make it right.

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made prior to a scheduled consultation are governed by Section 7 below.

• Products are intended for general wellness support and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.

• You will consult your veterinarian before using any herbal product, particularly if your animal is pregnant, nursing, on medications, or has a diagnosed health condition.

• You accept full responsibility for the use of purchased products on your animal.

• Product descriptions, ingredient information, and dosing guidelines are provided for educational purposes only. By booking a consultation or purchasing a product, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

7. APPOINTMENTS, CANCELLATIONS, & NO-SHOWS
• We ask that you provide at least 72 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation for a full refund. Refunds are not available if cancelling outside of the 72 hour notice window.

• Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee as outlined at the time of booking.

• Repeated no-shows may result in a requirement for prepayment before future appointments are confirmed.

• All cancelled bookings, even if in the 72 hours cancellation window are subject to a credit care processing fee.

8. PAYMENT
Payment for consultations and products is due at the time of service or purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment through our authorized payment platforms. Pricing is subject to change; current rates are listed on our website at time of booking or purchase. there are no refunds for

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on earthmedicinevet.com — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, product formulations, educational materials, the Divine Energy Oracle deck, and other creative works — is the intellectual property of Dr. Sarah Meintel / Earth Medicine Holistic Veterinary Healing and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without prior written consent. Personal, non-commercial use for educational reference is permitted with proper attribution.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Earth Medicine Holistic Veterinary Healing and Dr. Sarah Meintel, DVM, shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

Your use of, or inability to use, our website or services
Decisions made based on educational consultations or website content
Use of our herbal products on your animal
Any third-party content, links, or resources referenced on our site
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim.

11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Our website, content, and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or outcomes of any educational information provided.

12. THIRD-PARTY LINKS & RESOURCES
Our website may contain links to external websites, research, or resources. These are provided for educational convenience only. We do not endorse or control third-party content and are not responsible for its accuracy or practices.

13. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Jackson County, Oregon. Earth Medicine Holistic Veterinary Healing reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to decline or discontinue services to any prospective or existing client for any lawful reason, at any time, without obligation to provide justification.

14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
